Sullivan’s entire ferrous scrap production area is finished in concrete with underground pipes to help control rainwater and fluids. This helps to insure that contaminants do not come in contact with the soil. Fluids are collected in an oil/water separator tank where oil is separated from the water before the water is discharged. Collected oil is then disposed of properly at an off-site licensed disposal facility.
